My typical work day was less than typical. There are time I worked 15 hours a day 7 days a week. When I was on a shore command I would get calls through the night and have to get up and go in to fix something that unexpectedly came up. The toughest part of the job was the lack of sleep at times. The most enjoyable part of the job for me was the amount of traveling I was able to do. This is the greatest branch of the military. You will learn a lot of life lessons, and earn money while doing so.
